Spend each day of your snowmobile adventure holiday travelling to hidden locations within the pristine wilderness, whizzing over glistening fells, frozen lakes and through enchanting forests as you are led by an experienced guide.
Your snowmobile adventure holiday will begin at the sumptuous Holiday Club Bomba in Finland. Over the course of five days you will get to see some spectacular scenery as you make your way across the Russian border to historic Voknavolok, scenic Kalevala and the charming Luusalmi Village. Staying in cosy accommodation on your snowmobile adventure, all of your belongings can be taken with you and stored safely away on the back of your snowmobile.
All the necessary equipment and thermal clothing are provided for you on the snowmobile adventure holiday, and no prior experience is necessary as full tuition will be given at the start of the snowmobile safari. During your trip you might get the chance to see some native wildlife such as reindeer, elk, wolves, lynx and wolverine. You might also be lucky enough to witness the glorious Northern Lights as they fill the night skies with a splendid display of swirling colours. There is no doubt that this snowmobile adventure holiday will be like nothing you’ve ever experienced before.

Day 1 -
Arrive in Finland

From Kuopio Airport, transfer to the Holiday Club Bomba in Karelia Village, Finland. When you check in, collect your thermal clothing and the equipment that you will need for your snowmobile safari. Enjoy a delicious hot meal in the restaurant before settling into your room for the night, ready for your snowmobile adventure holiday to begin in the morning.

Day 2 -
Karelia Village to Voknavolok (120km)

After a good breakfast, collect your belongings and set off on your snowmobile adventure holiday, feeling the cool breeze on your face as you master the simple technique of driving the vehicle. Once everyone has crossed the border into Russia, there will be a break for lunch. Later on this afternoon, arrive at the historic village of Voknavolok which has successfully preserved its 17th century heritage. Your accommodation for the night will be in family housing, complete with a soothing sauna.

Day 3 -
Voknavolok to Kalevala (120km)

This morning your snowmobile adventure continues through breathtaking scenery towards Kalevala in Eastern Finland. The Hotel Kalevala has a beautiful location on the shores of Lake Lammasjärvi, and your accommodation for the next two nights will either be in a traditional log cabin or a cosy and comfortable hotel room. A traditional Finnish meal will be waiting for you when you arrive.

Day 4 -
Kalevala to Luusalmi Village (110km)

Today your snowmobile adventure holiday takes you on a day trip to the pretty Luusalmi Village, crossing the frozen Lake Lammasjärvi. Stop for lunch at this romantic settlement and perhaps browse for souvenirs before travelling back to the Hotel Kalevala where you can warm up with a sauna and a hot dinner.

Day 5 -
Kalevala to Voknavolok

Leaving the Hotel Kalevala behind, continue your snowmobile adventure holiday back across extraordinary landscapes to Voknavolok. Spend some more time exploring this old Karelian village which lies on the picturesque shores of Upper Kuito Lake, before settling into your accommodation. Voknavolok is an excellent place for seeing the Northern Lights, so keep watching the skies in case they make an appearance on tonight’s snowmobile adventure.

Voknavolok to Karelia Village

Today we cross the Russian border again and head back towards Karelia Village in Finland. Return your snowmobile equipment and check into the Holiday Club Bomba for the last night of your tour.
