Finland : Wild Brown Bear Adventure Holiday
Enjoy our beautiful wildlife on our hiking trails and other tourist routes. Explore Kuhmo by canoe as many others before you did. Sit on a stump on the Lentua lake shore and let your thoughts fly high up in the blue and pleasure sky. Fill up your backpacks and take your time… . Enjoy the delight of fishing on a bright summer’s night. Search for the wonders of nature in the midst of silent wilderness in one of Finland’s largest town, feel yourself to be a part of nature and its life. Meeting the ‘Wild Brown Bear’ in it’s natural environment, the wild Taiga, is an unforgettable experience and of course for photography enthusiasts an opportunity to take the shot of a lifetime from the comfort and safety of our specially designed Bear hides. The ‘Brown Bear’ and other rare animals such as the wolverine or the wild deer can be viewed from one of our three specially designed hides. A unique attraction – The Kalevala Village – has been created in scenic eastern Finland, where folk traditions behind Finland’s great epic Kalevala have been kept alive. The attractive Hotel Kalevala is the centre of the village’s accommodation and restaurant services. Amply dimensioned, the hotel conveys an impression of the heroic age. Taking advantage of modern building techniques and decoration, the whole is a mixture of fact and fiction, past and present.
