Day 1 -
Uk departure to Stockholm

Fly from your chosen UK departure airport to Sweden's capital, Stockholm. Our chosen hotel is located in the heart of Stockholm, just minutes away from the train station. The Nordic Lights hotel is a design hotel and features striking design using Sculpture and lighting. The Nordic Lights hotel is easily located from Arlanda airport and the trains run every 15 minutes, on a direct service to and from the airport. (The hotel is a 5 minute walk away from the station).

Day 2 -
From Stockholm to the ICEHOTEL
|
This morning catch the direct train service from Stockholm centre to Arlanda airport. On arrival into Kiruna we will arrange a transfer from the airport to the Ice hotel. For special occasion's or just for something different we could arrange your very own team of husky's to be waiting for you on your arrival. Usually you would spend your first night sleeping in the ICEHOTEL cold rooms, but we can arrange the sleeping arrangements to suit you! The Icehotel is a magical and spectacular structure and no two Icehotels are ever the same. The room temperature stays at a constant -5°C to -8°C, which feels pleasantly warm when outdoor temperatures can dip to -37°C, and you are kept snug and warm in a survival sleeping bag.

Day 3 -
Icehotel
|
A warm cup of lingonberry juice will be served to you when you wake in the morning and once you are ready, a warm hearty breakfast will follow in the restaurant. The rest of the day could be spent at leisure or we can pre arrange any extra activities that interest you including Snowmobiling, Moose safaris or our most popular excursion a Husky Safari. Your overnight stay in a warm Kaamos (non ice) Room in an adjacent building.

Day 4 -
Icehotel and the Northern Lights
|
After breakfast, you could spend time taking in the beautiful untouched scenery or take a stroll around the small village of Jukkasjärvi. You can also use this day to take another chance to participate in some of the optional excursions available. Being located above the Arctic Circle you may witness one of the world's natural wonders...The Northern Lights. This magical light display could appear at any stage of your stay in Kiruna and as part of the Northern Lights theme we can arrange a snowmobiling trip in the evening in search of the Northern Lights. (Price on request)

Day 5 -
Return Flight Home
|
Unfortunately it is now time to pack your luggage and say goodbye to this beautiful winter wonderland. You will be transferred back to Kiruna Airport for your return flight back to the UK.
