Be guided to exclusive viewing points, either on a husky safari or by bus, where light conditions are favourable. Guests enjoying an early season break at the Snowman Resort can choose to stay in either a modern apartment which is embraced by snow-covered mountains or the hotel which lies in the heart of the village. Day 1 -
Arrive at the Snowman Resort

Following your flight to Norway, transfer to the beautiful Snowman Resort to begin your early season break. Enjoy evening dinner before learning about the Northern Lights during a fantastic presentation. Later, visit a Sami lavvu (tent) and discover the fascinating culture of these northern regions. Once the sky has become dark, a guide will lead you to vantage points where there is no artificial light to interfere with the visibility of the Northern Lights. Although sightings cannot be guaranteed, an early season break at the Snowman Resort increases your chances of witnessing the magnificent display.

Day 2 -
Optional Activities

Today you can plan your early season break by choosing from a selection of optional activities (not included in price). Perhaps begin the day with a guided bus tour that introduces you to some of the highlights of the area and stop for lefse (Norwegian flatbread) and coffee around a crackling fire. A husky safari allows you to ‘mush’ your own pack of dogs across the rugged wilderness. You also have the opportunity to meet face to face with a wolf during your early season break on an excursion to the Polar Zoo. This remarkable attraction recreates as natural environments as possible for the animals and houses many incredible creatures. In the evening of your early season break you can go in search of the Northern Lights independently.

Day 3 -
Leisure Time and Departure
|
Following breakfast there will be leisure time for you to try out some of the Arctic activities that are on offer at the Snowman Resort. Learn how to use snowshoes, go reindeer sledging or build your own snowman!
Later in the day your early season break comes to an end and you will transfer to the airport for your return flight.
