Northern Lights in Iceland

The Northern Lights, also known as the Aurora Borealis, are naturally occurring phenomena which illuminate the sky in arcs of light that are coloured green, blue, yellow or red. The Northern Lights in Iceland are easy to see and more prominent than most other locations, due to Iceland’s northern latitude.
