Enjoy the ice hotel adventure of a lifetime, on this thrilling 5-day trip. Discover the Arctic town of Alta with its unique Ice Igloo, fascinating Sami culture, a range of exciting winter activities and sightings of the amazing Northern Lights.
*All drivers of a snowmobile must have a fully valid driving licence in order to take part in the tour*
Day 1 -
Arrive Alta - Ice Hotel adventure

On arrival at Alta Airport transfer, to the 3 star Rica Hotel Alta in the town centre, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2 -
Arrive Alta Igloo Hotel
|
Tea time transfer from the hotel in the town centre, arrive and check in at the Alta Igloo Ice Hotel. Enjoy a guided tour of the hotel and receive some information regarding your stay. Dinner is served in the restaurant next to the Alta Ice Hotel. Overnight stay at the Alta Ice Hotel.

Day 3 -
Snowmobile Safari & Alta Ice Igloo
|
After a morning sauna and breakfast, start the snowmobile safari just outside the Alta Igloo Hotel. Before starting your safari you will get dressed in winter clothing and receive driving and safety instructions. The safari ends outside the Alta Igloo Hotel and a delicious lunch will be served in the restaurant. Bus transfer back to Alta, dinner and overnight stay at the Rica Hotel Alta.

Day 4 -
Morning Dog sled and Evening Snowmobile Safari
|
|
This morning there is a dog sledding tour which operates daily except for Saturday's. You will meet the dog's, cuddle with puppies and eventually drive your own sled. Approx 2.5 hours.
Bus transfer from the Rica Hotel at approx 1700 for the evening snowmobile safari. Included is a visit to the Igloo Ice Hotel, and if the weather conditions are clear, you may catch a glimpse of the Northern Lights. .jpg "dusk-snowmobiling(2).jpg")

Day 5 -
Depart Alta
|
|
After breakfast transfer yourself to the airport for your flight back to the UK. Your ice hotel adventure ends.
