Types of winter activity holidays

Our luxury family friendly winter activity holidays fall into two broad groups. The first and most well known is the “hard adventure” holiday. Hard adventures are made up of physically challenging activities, often with basic facilities and minimal assistance. Hard adventurers tend to enjoy hiking over rugged terrain, white water rafting and other demanding pastimes. Soft adventure is more open to all; it includes kayaking on calm waters, walking holidays, camping, cycling and wilderness tours. The Mighty Fine Company’s winter activity holidays include a mix of the two.

We can tailor many of our winter activity holidays around our guests so they can try a taster session of several activities before choosing one of our more specific holidays like a week long husky sled expedition, Orca whale watching safari, or any of our other more specialised trips.
