The Aegean Odyssey will be your ship for the duration of the Southeast Asia Cruise, and she is a joy to sail aboard. With a choice of restaurants and bars combined with leisure facilities such as a spa, Jacuzzi and outdoor swimming pool, guests have everything they need for relaxing days spent at sea. Originally designed to carry 570 passengers, the ship has been stripped and renovated and now only takes 350 guests at a time, making her interior even more comfortable and spacious.

The Singapore History Museum provides a comprehensive overview of the city’s colourful past, while the Botanical Gardens offer a sanctuary from the busy streets.

  • Day 4 - Southeast Asian Cruise Begins

    Southeast Asian Cruise Begins

    Enjoy a leisurely breakfast this morning and some free time to explore Singapore independently. Later in the afternoon, we transfer to the docks where the Aegean Odyssey awaits. Board the ship, settle into your cabin and then join your fellow guests for a celebratory meal in the grand dining room as the ship sets sail for its first port of call on the Southeast Asia Cruise.

  • Day 5 - Port Kelang, Malaysia

    Port Kelang, Malaysia

    Spend the morning relaxing onboard the ship before docking at Port Kelang and transferrring to Kuala Lumpur. Enjoy a guided tour of this fascinating city, taking in famous sights like the Cathedral of St Mary, Independence Square and the colossal Petronas Towers.

    At Sea

    We dock at Thailand’s third largest island, Phuket, early this morning and disembark for an excursion to the beautiful Phi Phi Islands, which were the setting for the famous film The Beach. Soak up the idyllic scenery as we cruise along the tranquil waterways, weaving our way between lush, green islands.

    Enjoy another relaxing day on board the Aegean Odyssey as the Southeast Asia Cruise continues northwards across the Andaman Sea to Burma.

    We arrive at the city of Yangon in Burma around dinner time today. Since the ship remains docked here overnight, there is a fantastic opportunity to explore the city’s vibrant nightlife and visit some of the many bars and restaurants.

  • Day 10 - Excursions around Yangon

    Excursions around Yangon

    Today the Southeast Asia Cruise offers you three enticing offers. The standard excursion is a guided tour to the city of Bago, where you can visit the famous Reclining Buddha and the Kanbawzathadi Palace and museum. Alternatively, take a short flight to either Mandalay or Bagan (chargeable). Spend a further night moored in Yangon.

  • Day 11 - Sightseeing in Yangon

    Sightseeing in Yangon

    This morning on the Southeast Asia Cruise we take you on a comprehensive guided tour of the city to show you the main highlights and inform you about some of the city’s history. We also include a visit to the Golden Shwedagon Padoga. At 99 metres tall, its gilded dome glistens in the sunshine and it is the most sacred Buddhist pagoda in Burma, with relics of the most recent four Buddhas preserved inside.

  • Days 12 to 13 - At Sea

    Take some time to relax and reflect on your experiences over the past few days as we spend two leisurely days on board the Aegean Odyssey.

  • Day 14 - Penang


    Wake up to breathtaking views of the city of Penang in Malaysia. Today on the Southeast Asia Cruise we take a tour of the island, firstly paying a visit to the unusual Snake Temple. It is believed that the snakes that inhabit the temple moved there of their own accord, and that the burning incense renders them harmless, but they have also been de-venomed as a precaution. Also on today’s tour we visit another statue of the Reclining Buddha and spend some time in Georgetown.

  • Day 15 - Malacca


    In the afternoon, the Southeast Asia Cruise brings us to another fabulous Malaysian city. Malacca has been deemed a UNESCO World Heritage Site because of its unique architectural and cultural townscape. It’s fusion of Asian and European influences are derived from its 500-year history as an important trading port, and we take a guided tour to delve into the fascinating history of Malacca.

  • Day 16 - Departure

    Early this morning, the ship docks once again in Singapore and your Southeast Asia Cruise concludes. We transfer you to the airport for your return flight.
