Fly Copenhagen

Situated 8km from the city centre, on the Isle of Amager, and catering for 25 million passengers each year, Copenhagen International is Scandinavia’s busiest airport.

Due to the large number of passengers using the airport each day, Copenhagen is well equipped with everything you could possibly need including over 120 shops, restaurants, lounges and much, much more.

Families who pass through the airport are particularly well catered for. There is a special family track to follow, ensuring those with children have a particularly stress free journey through the airport and, when it is comes to waiting for your flight, there is a large family lounge with iPads, cartoon showings, Lego and table football.

There are four flight terminals at Copenhagen as well as a railway and metro line with links to the city’s central station. Copenhagen Central Station is the largest in Denmark and the hub for all train traffic. City centre trains depart every 20 minutes from the airport and shuttle buses run between the different terminals.

If you have time to leave the airport whilst waiting for a connection, you can even book a city tour of Copenhagen from the airport and get to grips with this fascinating location before flying off to your final destination.

Many Mighty Fine Company itineraries use Copenhagen as a connecting airport including our ever popular Voyage North. So why not take a look at this amazing cruise and make the most of Copenhagen as you pass through?
