I'm forever blowing bubbles

We have been busy travelling and working but we thought now would be a good opportunity to update the blog with some of our favourite pictures and experiences from our recent travels. First up, a great picture of Dolphins from our trip to the Azores. These playful mammals often enjoy themselves with these fun activities, like blowing bubbles and are just one of the many marine species that can be seen while on our Whale Watching in the Azores holiday

Azoreans Put the P in Party!

Christmas, in the Azores, was traditionally a time when locals would make liqueurs, cakes and sweets and invite neighbours around to taste the fruit of their labours. As the drinks were made in honour of the baby Jesus, their pouring was referred to as "O Menino Mija" - the baby Jesus passing water!

Although homemade liqueurs are no longer a key feature of Christmas traditions here, Azoreans still invite friends and relatives to their homes to participate in "O Menino Mija" by enjoying a drink and a piece of Christmas cake!

Discover Azorean traditions for yourself, when you travel with us to these wonderful volcanic islands.
