For this reason, we suggest you visit the Kalhari Desert instead before heading on to Victoria Falls. The rainy season is an especially good time to visit the Kalahari as the rain transforms the land into a lush green forest, enticing fantastic wildlife such as lions, cheetahs, suricates, migratory birds and raptors.
