During the rainy season (November to April), many areas of the Okavango Delta become flooded making it difficult to spot the wildlife and engage in activities at the Little Vumbura and Savuti camps. For this reason, we suggest you visit the Kalhari Desert instead before heading on to Victoria Falls. The rainy season is an especially good time to visit the Kalahari as the rain transforms the land into a lush green forest, enticing fantastic wildlife such as lions, cheetahs, suricates, migratory birds and raptors. For more information on visiting Botswana during these months, give us a call on 0333 800 2033 and let us design a tailor made break for you.
- due to flight departure times, you may need to fly out a day before the start of your Botswana Safari and/or spend an additional night in Africa at the end of your holiday
