Activities at Ranua Wilflife Park

There is a wide range of exciting activities to choose from at the Ranua Wildlife Park, so every day you can embark on a different adventure. In winter, when the landscape is coated in thick powdery snow, guests can ride with huskies or reindeer, snowmobile through the silent wilderness and go in search of the illustrious Northern Lights. Between September and March, it is quite common for the hypnotic lights of the Aurora to cavort across the dark sky. This inimitable and sought after occurrence is what makes Lapland a popular destination for winter holidays, and at the park you have the chance to witness the phenomenon in all its glory.

As well as the activities that let you explore the rugged countryside, there are also lots of things to do within the park itself. Throughout the winter, there are regular animal feeding shows; some even give you the opportunity to feed the animals yourself. Watch wild boars, polar bears and otters as they eagerly take their food. There is also a miniature snowmobile track close to the entrance of the park so children can also experience this thrilling winter activity.

There is no better way to appreciate all the magic of Lapland than at Ranua Wildlife Park.
