Day 1 - Arrive in Riga
On arrival in Riga, transfer to the Tallink Hotel for an overnight stay before the start of your Baltic Capitals Tour. Depending on the time of your arrival, you can visit the Old Town and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere. The ancient city centre takes pride of place on the UNESCO World Heritage list and is a definite must-see for visitors. A unique contrast of Art Nouveau, medieval and wooden architecture can be seen on the impressive skyline.
Day 2 - Depart Riga
Set sail on the 'Festival' or 'Romantika', bound for Stockholm, on your Baltic Capitals Tour. Make the most of the ship’s facilities whilst at sea and take in the breathtaking scenery along the way. There is plenty to keep you entertained on board, including a bar, pub, disco and several restaurants. Should you prefer, however, you are more than welcome to relax and watch the beautiful views float by. Day 3 - Discover Stockholm
Arriving in Stockholm, disembark the ship and let the fun begin. Stockholm is brimming with wonderful sights and attractions. Gamla Stan, the city’s Old Town, is a stunning historic maze of medieval streets, pretty plazas and extraordinary churches. Perhaps visit one of the many museums, amble around the bustling shops or simply watch the world go by as you sip coffee in a pavement café. Day 4 - Sail to Helsinki
Your Baltic Capitals Tour continues today as you board one of the sumptuous Silja ships for your voyage to Finland’s capital, Helsinki. These ships have a glass-roofed promenade featuring trendy boutiques, bars and award-winning restaurants where you can savour delicious cuisine. Unwind in the evening with a sauna or a refreshing swim in the ship’s pool before retiring to your cabin for the night.Meals included:Breakfast
Day 5 - Arrive in Helsinki
Helsinki is the next destination on your Baltic Capitals Tour. Enjoy a stroll around the tranquil Esplanade Park or, if you are a lover of all things aquatic, the Sea Life centre will take you on a journey of discovery. There is also a large zoo where you can meet a number of endangered species. Alternatively, if you are looking for more cultural adventures, the city's vast selection of museums, churches and striking architecture will certainly keep you occupied. Day 6 - Helsinki to Tallinn
Today you will journey to Tallinn aboard the speedy Tallink Shuttle. Completing the journey in just two hours, you will have plenty of time for exploration. In Tallinn you will notice the stark contrast between the medieval and modern buildings as you walk the streets. Indeed, most of the city’s main attractions can by reached on foot. Tallinn is an exceptional highlight on the Baltic Capitals Tour and its rich heritage can be experienced in Freedom Square which holds a real sense of national pride for its inhabitants. A trip to Kadriorg Palace and its immaculate gardens is highly recommended and your stay in Tallinn would not be complete without visiting St Catherine’s Passage. This delightful cobbled walkway is lined with artisan shops selling everything from decorative quilts to glassware and even hats and is the ideal location for a spot of souvenir shopping.
The final night of your Baltic Capitals Tour will be spent at the Tallink City Hotel.Meals included:Breakfast
Day 7 - Depart Tallinn
