As part of the preparation for your holiday, you may want to think about the type of clothing and equipment you will need to get the most out of your trip and, more importantly, that keeps you comfortable while you're away.
If you are looking for a good quality clothing or equipment provider, we have worked closely with Dare 2b in the past and would recommend that you take a look at their extensive product range.

While preparing for your holiday, part of the adventure can be making sure you are properly equipped. However, you don't need to buy a lot of expensive winter clothing for these holidays as many of the activities include the required clothing. We also find that when they're not doing the activities, many of our customers prefer to have the freedom of using their own clothes as the provided overalls can often be quite cumbersome.
The clothing for the winter activities can generally be of any type but it is important that you are able to layer it. When you are travelling to destinations where the temperature can drop to below freezing, it is important that the materials placed next to your skin are 'wicking' materials. These are materials that carry moisture away from your body and are often man made fabrics like polyester or natural materials like wool and bamboo. Cotton is not a 'wicking' material as it absorbs the water, and if it is exposed to the air at very cold temperatures it can freeze and cause frostbite when next to the skin.
