Hurtigruten Midnatsol

Hurtigruten has a fleet of 14 ships that sail along the coasts of Norway, Greenland and the Norwegian island of Spitsbergen. The Hurtigruten Midnatsol vessel was built in 2003 and since its maiden voyage in the same year it has become a firm favourite. The ship ventures on many different voyages including the classic round voyage, the classic voyage south and the classic voyage north. As the name suggests, the Hurtigruten Midnatsol ship is named after the Midnight Sun, a natural phenomenon that occurs in the Arctic Circle where some regions experience 24 hour sunlight in the summer months. Below is a list of holidays that use the Hurtigruten Midnatsol or similar vessels.
