Cabin Styles

Different countries boast different styles of Log Cabins. Lapland, however, is home to the most traditional versions. The ‘Kelo’ style cabins in Finnish Lapland are built with full, round pine logs and are the perfect picture postcard package. In Iso Syote, they boast a private veranda, cosy living area, open fireplace and private sauna, whilst in Kakslauttanen they feature rustic décor, private gardens and even the obligatory fireside Finnish rocking chair! And if you are travelling with a large party, look no further than Rukan Salonki which offers the most amazingly spacious cabins sleeping a minimum of eight people and catering for the Finnish tradition of holidaying with extended family.

Daytime Fun

The vast majority of our breaks to Log Cabins in Lapland feature an amazing array of fun-filled snowy activities. You can set out into the wilderness driving your very own snowmobile, learn how to mush a team of huskies, take relaxing reindeer rides and try snowshoeing, cross country skiing and kick sledding. There’s so much to do here and, on each adventure, you’ll be able to enjoy some simply amazing scenery as well, as course, as looking out for the resident local wildlife.
