  • Day 1 - Bergen

Our Bergen Kirkenes Bergen Cruise is the classic full round voyage and a truly amazing trip - Bergen

Arriving in Bergen, board the ship for the start of your Bergen Kirkenes Bergen Cruise. This first evening is the perfect time for exploring the vessel and great enjoying the scenery from the panoramic lounge.

    Meals included:Dinner
  • Day 2 - Ålesund and the Geirangerfjord

    Ålesund and the Geirangerfjord

Today we visit Ålesund - a beautiful town with a fascinating history. In 1904 the entire town was destroyed in a devastating fire. So savage was the destruction that donations came from across Europe to repair the damage. Rebuilt in the fashion of the day, Ålesund is now known worldwide for its Art Nouveau styling and is the European centre of this delightful art movement.

As well as visiting Ålesund, if you are travelling between mid-April and mid-September, you will sail down the UNESCO listed Geirangerfjord today. Renowned for its gushing waterfalls and archetypical fjord landscape, this is one attraction you'll certainly need your camera for!

    Meals included:Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
  • Day 3 - Trondheim

Today we visit medieval Trondheim. For centuries the city was a centre of Viking power and today its medieval history makes it a real favourite with visitors and a true highlight of our Bergen Kirkenes Bergen Cruise.

    Meals included:Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
  • Day 4 - The Arctic Circle

    The Arctic Circle

In the early hours of this morning your ship crosses the Arctic Circle and enters the land of the Midnight Sun. Optional activities for the day include a sea eagle safari and trip to the Saltstraumen maelstrom.

    Meals included:Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
  • Day 5 - Tromsø

If it's day five, it must be Tromso!

In the golden age of exploration, Tromsø was used as a staging point for Arctic expeditions. A sense of adventure still clings to the town, but nowadays visitors can also enjoy the magnificent sight of the Arctic Cathedral and the cafés and shops which punctuate the bustling streets of this thoroughly modern municipality.

Tromsø marks a midpoint on the north-bound leg of the Bergen Kirkenes Bergen Cruise. It is the last settlement of any considerable size before entering the wilderness of the far north.

    Meals included:Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
  • Day 6 - North Cape

    North Cape

After an early visit to Hammerfest, the ship arrives at Honningsvåg. From here you can visit - and stand at - the cliff edge of North Cape – mainland Europe’s northernmost point. Now there's a memory to take back home!

    Meals included:Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
  • Day 7 - Kirkenes

Today, our northbound voyage concludes as we reach Kirkenes - 1500 miles from Bergen and the mid-point of our Bergen Kirkenes Bergen Cruise. The area around Kirkenes is characterised by dramatic cliff faces and rugged scenery. Recommended optional activities here include trips to the Russian border, riverboat safaris, bathing in the Barents Sea and King Crab fishing.

    Meals included:Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
  • Day 8 - Hammerfest and Midnight Concert

    Hammerfest and Midnight Concert

After a stop at Hammerfest, the world’s most northerly town, we return to Tromsø today for the chance to enjoy a midnight concert at the Arctic Cathedral.

    Meals included:Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
  • Day 9 - Lofoten Islands

    Lofoten Islands

A scenic treat awaits today on your Bergen Kirkenes Bergen Cruise! The Lofoten Islands are situated at the meeting point of the Gulf Stream and the cold waters of the Arctic Sea. This unique position has afforded the area a range of sealife so rich and varied as to rival anywhere else in the world. Sailing through this mountainous island chain it is easy to see why its beauty is recognised worldwide. For many people, the highlight of this part of the sailing is the passage through the beautiful Trollfjord.

    Meals included:Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
  • Day 10 - The Seven Sisters

    The Seven Sisters

Crossing the Arctic Circle in daylight, today, your ship passes several destinations featured in Norse mythology - including the Seven Sisters mountain range and Torghatten – the mountain pierced by a troll’s arrow!

    Meals included:Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
  • Day 11 - Molde

Today, on your Bergen Kirkenes Bergen Cruise, we call in on Molde - beautifully situated and surrounded by nearly 90 high mountain peaks, it is known as the City of Roses due to its lush parks and gardens. Molde has long been a popular port of call and was a favourite of early 20th century dignitaries like Wilhelm II and the Prince of Wales.

    Meals included:Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
