  • Day 1 - Your Bergen to Tromso Cruise Begins

    Fly to Bergen and transfer to the ship for your Bergen to Tromso Cruise. On board you will have the chance to sample some delectable cuisine at dinner, before spending the rest of the evening relaxing.   • Day 2 - Explore Ålesund

    Enjoy the first full day of your epic voyage, which will be calling at around 20 different ports. During your Bergen to Tromso Cruise you will visit a wide variety of settlements from small fishing communities to modern towns.

    The main port of call today is the enchanting Art Nouveau town of Ålesund, where you can view the picturesque landscape, admire the stunning architecture and enjoy the town’s culinary speciality - wild smoked salmon.

  • Day 3 - Visit Trondheim

    Visit Trondheim

    Today your Bergen to Tromso Cruise arrives in the fascinating Viking city of Trondheim - the original capital of Norway. When you disembark the ship you will be greeted with an array of incredible sights. There is an optional excursion to the breathtaking Nidaros Cathedral, which is one of Europe’s most striking Gothic monuments. The Ringve Music Museum is another of the city's many attractions and there'll be time to enjoy lunch in one of the many cafés and restaurants here before returning to the ship.

    Tonight, on your Bergen to Tromso Cruise, be sure to look skywards in the hope of viewing the dazzling bands of yellow, green and blue as they dance across the sky. Your ship sails onwards through the night.

  • Day 4 - The Lofoten Islands

    The Lofoten Islands

    In the early hours of the morning your ship will cross the Arctic Circle. The next port of call on your Bergen to Tromso Cruise is Bodø where you can explore the town, see the world’s strongest maelstrom (whirlpool) or witness the whirling stream at Saltstraumen.

    Later, you will sail through the majestic Loften Islands, which will, no doubt, be one of the highlights of the day. Finally you reach the town of Svolvær, where you can enjoy an after-dinner stroll and visit the world’s first ice gallery which uses music and dramatically lit ice sculptures to portray fascinating stories about the islands.

    Spend your last night at sea, keeping watch for the Northern Lights.

  • Day 5 - Arrive in Tromsø

    Arrive in Tromsø

    Arrive in Tromsø mid afternoon, at the end of your time at sea on this Bergen to Tromso Cruise.

    Tromso is Norway's Arctic capital and, on arrival, you will transfer to your hotel for an overnight stay. Weather permitting, you will be able to take part in an optional dog sledding, snowmobiling or reindeer sledging excursion.

  • Day 6 - Bergen to Tromso Cruise : Departure

    Bergen to Tromso Cruise : Departure

    Wake up and enjoy breakfast at your hotel ready for the last day of your adventure. There may be time to visit some of Tromsø's main attractions or even embark on a spectacular morning whale watching safari (available November to January) before your transfer to the airport for your international flight.

    If you want more time to explore Tromso, why not book an extra overnight stay at the end of your Bergen to Tromso Cruise and give yourself more time to enjoy the city? Opt for a cable car journey to the top of the mountain and take in the panoramic views of the city and surrounding Arctic landscapes, venture into the wilderness by husky sled or snowmobile or visit the world's northernmost brewery and sample the local tipple.
