Day 1 - Arrive in Oslo
Your Norway Explorer tour begins in Oslo, at the end of the incredible Oslofjord. Oslo is Norway’s largest city, blessed with an array of fascinating sights including the Opera House, City Hall, the Royal Palace and the Cathedral. The city has a cultural and cosmopolitan charm which you can soak up as you take a stroll along the harbour where you will find plenty of restaurants and shops. The National Art Gallery here is also well worth a visit during your Norway Explorer tour.
Day 2 - Sightseeing in Oslo
Today, you will have the entire day to take in the essence of Oslo. Wake up to a hearty breakfast before enjoying leisure time exploring the main attractions. Vigeland Sculpture Park is a great day out for all the family on the Norway Explorer tour and features bronze and stone sculptures within 80 acres of land. Day 3 - Oslo – Flåm
This morning on your Norway Explorer tour, depart by train to Myrdal. Arriving in Myrdal, transfer onto the Flåm Railway, travelling along precipitous mountain sides, deep ravines and cascading waterfalls. Day 4 - Flåm to Bergen by Boat
The morning ferry along the Sognefjord to Bergen is a fantastic way to start day four of your Norway Explorer tour. The scenery here is stunning and the views from the water simply amazing.
Known as the ‘Gateway to the Fjords’, Bergen is set apart by the rugged beauty of its seven mountains and seven fjords. The UNESCO listed Bryggen Harbour is one of the highlights of the city and its brightly coloured buildings which fringe the waterfront, are utterly charming. Day 5 - Explore Bergen
If you didn’t manage to see all the sights of Bergen yesterday on your Norway Explorer tour, you can spend today at leisure discovering even more of the sights. Some of the most incredible views of the city, and its majestic fjords, can be experienced from the funicular that runs up the side of Mount Fløyen and, on a clear day, you can see for miles. Day 6 - Depart Bergen
Following breakfast at the hotel, take a taxi or bus to the airport for your return flight to the UK as your Norway Explorer tour concludes. Travelling home with amazing photographs and even better memories, you're sure to want to return to this beautiful country once again.
