Day 1 - Arrival in Alta
Your Sorrisniva Igloo Hotel Northern Lights tour gets underway as you arrive in Norway and check into your luxurious accommodation at the Rica Hotel. The afternoon is entirely your own, explore the city and take in the local ambiance before your night time Northern Lights Safari. You’ll be transferred, by bus, to the evening’s best location for Aurora spotting and discover more about the fascinating science behind the lights as well as the intriguing mythology surrounding them.
Day 2 - Transfer to Sorrisniva Igloo Hotel
During your time here you can enjoy an unforgettable dog sledding journey and take advantage of the range of optional (chargeable) activities on offer including thrilling snowmobile rides.
Later, you will be transferred to the amazing Igloo Hotel. As with everything else in this beautiful place, the hotel bar is made entirely of ice and is well worth a visit. Dinner today on your Sorrisniva Igloo Hotel Northern Lights tour will be prepared by an award-winning chef, using local ingredients - the perfect introduction to Norwegian cuisine. Pop outside before you retire to scour the skies for the magical Aurora and, when you’re ready for bed, you can look forward to a snug night in your thermal sleeping bag.

Day 3 - Explore the Igloo Hotel and Return to Alta
Start your day with a sauna before an exquisite buffet breakfast in the Laksestua restaurant. This morning on your Sorrisniva Igloo Hotel Northern Lights try your hand at any activities you missed out on yesterday and have a final look around this magnificent building and its beautiful surroundings. Day 4 - Dog Sledding and Optional Activities
Thursday is entirely free to do as you choose (some activities may be chargeable). Explore the city, stopping off at the Northern Lights Cathedral for a look at this majestic structure or visit the Alta Museum and experience historical and cultural highlights. You can also enjoy a meal at one of the many cafes and restaurants. Your last night will be spent at the Rica Hotel.Meals included:Breakfast
Day 5 - Departure
This morning you have a last chance to do some souvenir shopping or sightseeing before your Sorrisniva Igloo Hotel Northern Lights tour ends and you fly back to London in the afternoon.
